All About Me....

So I'm Chris McNeal, and this is my site. yeah, I know, great intro. Not a lot of ways I could think to open up with. Not even a fan of "about me" sections but figured I should include something. I'm a graphic designer, kinda feel that seems to narrow down what I can do in peoples minds. Yes I could make your website look pretty, create you a logo, or impress you with marketing designs, but I really feel I'm more than that. I love to illustrater, design posters & portraits. I'm dipping into apparel design and starting mock-ups for little figures I want to get produced. Learning new techinques and enhancing old ones. So I'm hoping I'm seen as more of an artist than anything else.

Anyway, I was born and have lived most of my life in Cincinnati, Ohio. i've been drawing since the age of five. I can remember drawing a box shaped Superman, with stick figure hands and an "S- curl", saving the world. I've taken a ton of art class and attended art schools, and have a BA in Visual Communications. I heart my wacom tablet and wonder how I was ever able to design anything on the computer without it. I'm big on tattoos and designing them, even though I only have one. Plan on getting a few more though.

I'm inspired by other artist, and hope to meet a lot more before my life is all said and done. Anyone who can push me to go above and beyond what I think I can do is my hero.
